THE DOG Deathland

Some games are so cute that they just wanna say, "Aww!
This one didn't do much of that.
It just horrified me. That's all.
Well when I was younger, about 6 or 7, I got a video game in my easter basket called THE DOG Island. It was supposed to be a really cute game about a dog trying to save your sibling from a rare illness that only a certain flower can save. I opened the box and found the disc. It looked normal with the beagle on there.
I opened up the game and heard the song terrified me already. It was all scratchy and it made me shake like fucking CRAZY. I obviously skipped it.
Then I saw the "New" and "Continue" buttons with the dogs playing at the top. But the logo was a dark red instead of a baby blue, and I was still freaked out.
I dared to hit "New", but I did. Then there was the normal thing at the beginning of the game in Pururo town with the happy dogs playing and licking and stuff. In a matter of fat a bulldog mailman with a letter in his hand. But another thing that was wrong was it had a large splotch of blood on it.
Then he handed it to an elderly gray dog, asking him what it said. He read it, saying, "Are you scared yet?" in a gruesome reversed text.
Well, I'll just skip to the REALLY creepy part.
I arrived at THE DOG island, where a completely white Labrador with completely black eyes. I started crying of fear IRL, but I sucked it up and kept playing.
After she talked with me for a while and I visited Dr. Potan, a beagle with doctor accessories, he looked pretty normal in the game as he is supposed to be. Then we visited a yorkie, showing us a house that he said was haunted by a "Ghost".
When we went inside, The Labrador told me "She had to do something important" And she left me inside. My dog turned around and he saw a black creature with white eyes and a completely white mouth (sort of the face of High Five Ghost from Regular Show) with a puddle of blood around him.
"Why did you.." then he closed his eyes and died.
I started bawling again, this time very loud. He was the character I wanted to see the most in the game, also of fear. I haven't picked up that game for another three years, but I might be brave enough to do so again.
